Kashmiri veri masala is a great seasoning to have on hand since a little of it packs a ton of flavor. Just break off a small portion ,grind a bit with mortar and pestle ( please remember that its a dried kind of cake)and mix in water – the solution is ready to use in cooking. You can marinate meat/Chicken in Kashmiri masala for up to 6 hours. Keep in mind that the longer you marinate the meat, the more flavorful it becomes.
